The Social Battery PH is a university project established by a group of six 3rd-Year Marketing Management students of the University of San Carlos for their Advanced Digital Marketing course.
What we do
Advocate. Recharge. Inspire.
To inspire people to recharge their mental health. Help them understand what it means to have good mental health. Create a safe environment and be an ally for those who need it. Furthermore, we want to empower and constantly motivate everyone. Break down stigma, and fight mental illnesses.
Why we do it
Lack of Mental Awareness
If you've noticed, there is a lack of mental health awareness, acceptance, and advocacy. We want to bridge that gap and be there for you.
How did we start?
The story goes back to when we brainstormed for a good campaign that is relevant and something we all can relate to. We realized that even though we have our share of struggles and our paths in life, the one thing that resonated the most was that we were passionate about mental health advocacy.
We came together not just to create a project for our course. It’s beyond that because we wanted to create something that would help people like us – struggling with their mental well-being—find the support they need in a safe environment.
Thus, we started to curate our simple idea: Everyone deserves to recharge – that we all need to recharge our mental health.
Whether you're struggling with your mental health or you know someone who is, we want to empower you to recharge your mental health through our #Recharge campaign to create a safe and supportive community, encouraging stories, educational resources, and more.
We started this campaign because we recognized that people everywhere need an outlet for them to connect with others who understand them and feel validated by their experiences. And an outlet for them to find resources to help them become better equipped to cope with life's challenges and eventually recharge their mental well-being.
We want everyone who comes across our website or all our social channels—whether for the first time or the tenth time—to walk away feeling empowered, encouraged, and recharged.
